The diversity of events which may possibly happen in an educational space, corresponds to the variety of programs in different scales such as classrooms, big and small gathering spaces, public halls, open/close/semi-close spaces and most importantly, circulation. The latest, in fact, must connect easy-accessible spaces with minimum ambiguity of addressing. Accordingly, in this project, the variety of programs and the circulation were used respectively as the factor in composition and the factor in connecting spaces.

A super-grid as a result of the superimposition of two grids—driven from the boundary of the site—considered as the tool for controlling different elements and fragmentation of the project, based on the demanded activities helped to define all parts.

Because of the location of the high school which was possible to be observed from both the bridge and the commercial tower in the neighborhood and the presence of the river behind the site, an architecture in which different experiences were offered from different points of view, was set as the framework for the whole process.

Zoning, as another important characteristic of educational spaces, helped to categorize spaces based on their function and architectural requirements such as the need for light, the distance from noises, the level of accessibility etc.
