One step, long as the sole of the right foot, another one, long as the sole of the left foot and so a dashed line remains in the air. Walking on the edge is the paradox of balancing fearfully and posturing confidently. Look how amazing is the coexistence of the spectator and the rope-dancer under the same tent. The spectator envies the rope-dancer his pride while the dancer is barely able to postpone his collapse inside. Look how the "situation" creates the dichotomy between one’s universe and another's.

یک قدم به طول کف پای راست، یک قدم به طول کف پای چپ، و اینگونه از او نقطه چینی در هوا بر جای می ماند. تناقضِ عجیبِ راه رفتن روی لبه، ترس از برهم خوردن تعادل است با دستهایِ بازِ شق و رق. می بینی چه حیرت آور است همزیستی تماشاچی و بندباز زیر یک چادر؟ تماشاچی ای که به غرور بندباز غبطه می خورد و بندبازی که تلنگر فروپاشی اش را از گامی به گام دیگر معوق می کند. می بینی چطور ”موقعیت“ یکی از این دو، دنیایی تعریف می کند که ناقض تعریف دنیایِ دیگریست؟
